MTV NEEDED A BUILDING IN AMSTERDAM THAT FELT BOTH \u2018AT HOME\u2019, WHILE CONTAINING STATE-OF-THE-ART PRODUCTION FACILITIES.\u00a0
_<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

MTV Networks Nederland has moved to the Mediawharf in Amsterdam and QuA was the interior architect for the building. QuA worked together with Max van Aerschot architects who take credit for the exiterior of the building. The concept for the interior architecture aims to respect the original architecture of the building as much as possible.\u00a0The 5000 square meter building includes studios, offices for the various stations and a restaurant for all divisions of MTV Networks.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Special attention should be paid to\u00a0lighting and\u00a0soundproofing. The atmosphere should be \u2018open\u2019 but with\u00a0private areas. It should be \u2018hip\u2019 but professional;\u00a0a great place\u00a0to work, overlooking the water in Amsterdam.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Several production companies, such as MTV, Nickelodeon and\u00a0TMF will use the building. It should include meeting rooms, editing suites, studios, offices, a restaurant and welcome area.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n
